What are the advantages of duvet covers?
Duvet covers not only keep your duvet clean but also allow you to add decoration and style to your bedroom. They provide extra comfort and help with insulation to keep you warm.
When can a duvet be used, year-round or during winter only?
We provide a selection of duvets with different togs to suit the seasons. The higher the tog, the warmer the duvet. 7.5 tog would be for the summer months, 10.5 is a standard all-year-round duvet, while 13.5 gives that extra thickness for colder months.
What is the best duvet filling?
The two main types of filling are natural and synthetic. Synthetic duvets have many benefits; they will not irritate people with allergies, are easy to clean, and are more cost-effective. Natural duvets like duck feather and down are more luxurious, have a warmer feel, and are incredibly long-lasting. However, they may not suit people with allergies.
Why get a mattress topper?
Mattress toppers provide extra comfort and can change the feel of your mattress if you want to upgrade slightly but don't want to buy a whole new mattress. They are a cost-effective option to prolong the lifespan of your mattress by taking pressure off and keeping it clean.

How to clean a mattress?
It is essential to keep on top of cleaning your mattress to stop bacteria from spreading. If your mattress has a removable cover, regularly wash in the washing machine. Remove any stains with detergent or stain remover. More prominent stains may need a steam cleaner. You can use a hoover to remove dust and dirt. Don't forget to thoroughly air dry your mattress to prevent moisture from building up.
Can I wash my feather duvet in the washing machine?
Usually, yes, you can, but always read the instructions on the label. Before washing, double-check for worn stitching and minor rips, and repair to avoid losing any down stuffing or feathers. Use a delicate setting on your machine and mild/non-bio detergent.
