Recipe

  1. Line your baking tin with grease-proof paper
  2. Prepare your rich tea or digestive biscuits by placing them in a plastic food storage bag and crush them with a rolling pin
  3. Chop the chocolate into small squares and melt in a bowl above a saucepan of hot water (make sure the bowl isn't touching the water directly or this will burn the chocolate)
  4. Add the butter and golden syrup into the bowl and continue to stir
  5. Stir in the crushed biscuits, Maltesers, and whichever other goodies you've chosen
  6. Remove from the heat and spread the mixture into your lined baking tin
  7. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours or until set
  8. Remove from the tin, slice, serve and enjoy!
